The Höllgrotten Caves are a unique subterranean world for all ages to explore and enjoy. Located in the Lorzentobel near Baar, Switzerland these 6,000 year old caves have been outfitted with modern LED lighting to bring out the thousands of colorful formations of stalagmites and stalactites. The audioguide feature is great for children, as it tells the story of how the cave was formed by the mischievous cave spirit, Tüüfeli. The Höllgrotten Caves provide families, couples and groups an educational and fun experience with their amazing wonders.

They discovered acces to the grotto in 1863. In 1885 they discovered more parts of the cave and 1917 they linked up all the grottos.
