Lago di Leit is an alpine lake, located in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. This hike was one of the biggest surprise with it is incredible views and surroundings.

HIKE DETSILS:

Take the bus to Rodi, Posta. From here you need to ride the cable car up from Rodi to Lago Tremorgio. Right at leaving the cable car will greet you Lake Tremorgio which is an incredibly blue alpine lake. You can hike down to the lake and enjoy the scenery or you can continue your hike towards Lago di Leit. If you decide to continue you won't regret it since Lago di Leit even more beautiful than Tremorgio. You can also find Capanna Leit hut by the lake for refreshments.

From this lake you can either hike back to the cable car station or spice up even more this hike. Continue hiking towards the third lake that is the most beautiful out of all, called Lago di Morghirolo. It is nestled between the mountains and reminded me of the world famous Oeschinensee. But with no people around ;)

Once you finished taking 1000 of pictures you can continue your hike towards Dalpe that is a small village, where you could catch the bus home. Check schedule carefully, they have gaps during the day.

TIP: sleep at Capanna Leit for experiencing the trail without rushing and I am sure sunrise and sunset are incredible there!
