The Scotsman Steps, also known as Work No. 1059, is a cool and artsy installation in Edinburgh, Scotland. Created by artist Martin Creed, these steps were originally built back in the early 1900s as part of The Scotsman newspaper building. Over time, they fell into disrepair and became a hotspot for vandalism. But then, in 2011, Creed came to the rescue with his brilliant idea. He covered each of the 104 steps with different types of marble from all around the world, creating a unique and colorful experience for anyone who walks up or down them.
