Roseto Comunale in Rome is one of the most tranquil and delightful places to explore. Located on the Aventine Hill, it is home to over 1,100 varieties of roses arranged in sections, as well as countless breathtaking views of the Circus Maximus, the Palatine Hill, and even the Vittoriano. Visitors are taken back in time with plaques commemorating the area's past as a Jewish cemetery until 1934. People of all ages can enjoy walking the pathways which double as a menorah shape giving visitors an additional layer of significance and thoughtfulness that one doesn't come by regularly. Furthermore, the garden rewards both flower enthusiasts and families with its captivating roses- from ancient Damascene roses to modern English roses. It's not everyday you get to witness such beauty, so be sure to take advantage when Roseto Comunale opens its gates.
