Jubilee Gardens is a public park located in the London Borough of Lambeth. Created in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, it was redeveloped in 2012 for the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen and Summer Olympics. The gardens span over 4.35 acres and boast an array of features, including a memorial to the casualties of the International Brigade of the Spanish Civil War, a flagpole, commemorative plaques and even its own green canopy. There are also stunning views of the River Thames, London Eye, Shell Centre and County Hall, not to mention a serene atmosphere that invites visitors to explore. Families will love letting their children run free in the sprawling grassy areas and take part in family-friendly events at the park throughout the year.
