The Ponte di Westminster is a stunning tourist destination for those visiting Rome, Italy. This historic bridge is located over the river Tiber and connects two of the oldest parts of Rome. It was originally constructed by Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century and gets its name from the old-world Westminster Abbey located near it. The bridge has seen many years of wear, but still stands today with its ornate and intricate designs. It is a popular spot to walk or take photographs, and provides a wonderful view of the river. On sunny days, the light glistening off the running water is a truly unforgettable sight.
