The Millennium Bridge in London, England is an iconic symbol of the city and a much-visited tourist attraction. The bridge was constructed in 1998 and opened to the public in June 2000, just in time for its nominal purpose of bridging the River Thames and offering pedestrians easy access between Bankside and the City of London. It's 4-meter wide aluminum deck, suspended by eight cables provides a stunning view of St Paul’s south facade. Upon opening, Londoners began referring to the bridge as “the Wobbly Bridge” due to a slight lunching motion experienced when the bridge was initially crossed. It soon closed for repairs and reopened in February 2002. It is now one of the most popular photographing spot in London, taking advantage of its location and design to provide stunning views of the river and nearby attractions.
