Step back in time with a peaceful stroll through what remains of Fukuoka's grand castle. While only the impressive stone walls and foundations are left, the hilltop park offers some of the best panoramic views of the city. It's a favorite local spot, especially in late March and early April when hundreds of cherry trees burst into bloom, creating a stunning sea of pink and white. The main viewing platform is just a gentle 10-15 minute walk up from the park entrance, making it an easy escape into our city's samurai past.
