Busses and Taxis
Here are my tips for getting around the country once you're there :)

Peru
MY BUS RECOMMENDATION IS CRUZ DE SUR.
You will see a lot of ads for PeruHop and I even got a free pass as a content creator, but the Cruz del Sur busses were so superior I elected to buy my tickets with them as opposed to riding PeruHop for free. The busses are wayyy more comfortable, clean, and there are less oof the "tourist that has no idea what is going on and talks very loud" type of people.
Taxis
I didn't use many taxis until I got to Cusco, but keep in mind that the cost to move around the city in a taxi is between 5-15 soles depending on the distance.
Uber
Uber works around the country and is often easier than anything else for transportation. It can also bail you out of situations if you forget to book a bus. I took a 3 hour Uber for like 60 bucks because I forgot to get a bus reservation.
Colectivos
These are little vans that drive locals around Peru. Everybody pitches in a little cash and goes to the same place. I'm a little tall for how packed the vans are so I refrained from taking any. I also would say that these are for Spanish speakers, and won't have much room for bags/luggage. Cheapest way to get from point A to B
