Fort Point National Historic Site offers visitors an exciting chance to explore San Francisco's dramatic history. Located overlooking the iconic Golden Gate, the site was used for military defense from the California Gold Rush to World War II. Visitors can explore the fascinating casemates and see the art of 3rd system brick masonry, as well as view the stunning Golden Gate Bridge. Guided tours and educational programs are offered the whole year round, promising to immerse visitors in this amazing national park.
