Søndre Strømfjord, also known as Kangerlussuaq, is a settlement in western Greenland that used to be the main air transport hub until a new airport opened in Nuuk. It's nestled at the head of a fjord and boasts diverse wildlife like muskoxen and caribou. With a population of around 508 people, the town relies heavily on tourism and the airport for its economy. Plus, it's the only town in Greenland not directly on the ocean but still has a coastline nearby.
