This was our favorite gorge on the Gibb River Road, it is not too big but it is surrounded by the forest and the multilevel waterfall is magical.

We highly recommend heading there early in the morning so you will have it all for yourself!

The walk from the car park is very easy, just 1 km return and make sure you look up while doing it to spot Kookaburras.

Photo tip: to achieve the photo sitting under the waterfall use a telephoto lens from the opposite side of the pool and zoom in

Please note that it is on the Gibb River Road, it can be reached with a 2WD in winter but you'll have the best experience with a 4WD.
