How To Do The DIY Landtour in Siargao

There are 5 main spots to visit, and depending on the Low Tide, you will have to either START or FINISH with the Mapopongko Rock Pools & Flats.

In this example, I started with Mapopongko, which is also the furthest point, taking you 50 minutes from General Luna. Then you basically work your way back to GL.

1: Mapopongko Rock Pools & Flats
Entrance Fee: 30₱/person + 20₱/scooter
Parking Fee: 20₱/scooter
>>Visit during Low Tide (Google it)
>>Restaurants, food options, and souvenir shops nearby
>>Other than the rock pools, it’s a stunning beach spot

2: Tayangban Cave Pool
Entrance Fee: 150 ₱/person
Guide: 200₱/group
>>Be ready to swim at times

3: Maasin River
Entrance Fee: 20₱
Kanu Tour: 600₱ for 3PAX
>>Food options & souvenir shops around

4: Coconut Road
Free
>>Please be mindful & cautious when taking pictures here, it’s a busy road

5: Coconut Trees View Deck
