Palazzo del Te, also known as Palazzo Te, is a remarkable architectural masterpiece located in the suburbs of Mantua, Italy. It was designed by Renaissance architect Giulio Romano and follows the Mannerist style of architecture. The palace was originally built 1524-1534 for Federico II Gonzaga, Marquess of Mantua, as a place to entertain guests and spend leisure time away from the city. Its distinctive exterior façades feature flat pilastres, rusticated walls, and the original loggia. Inside is where this palace truly shines, with spectacularly decorated frescoes that are often referred to as “Mannerism’s most famous fresco”. Palazzo del Te continues to impress visitors today with its remarkable illustrations and top notch design.

Palazzo Te is a marvelous place to visit in Mantua and the prices of the adult ticket is €15.

If you are having a one day trip to Mantua, I'd keep this palace at the very end, as it's not nearby all the other attractions and very close to the train station. So at the end of your visit you can take easily the train. I honestly wouldn't skip this, it's truly gorgeous. My favourite part was the Hall of the Giants (first photo), the room is incredibly beautiful and the frescos breathtaking.
