For some of the most breathtaking views over Málaga, you have to make the journey up to Castillo de Gibralfaro. It's a bit of a climb to the top of the hill, about a 25-40 minute walk, but the panoramic scenery of the city and the Mediterranean is absolutely worth the effort. Once you're up there, you can walk along the ancient Moorish walls of this 14th-century fortress and feel the history around you. If you're not up for the steep walk up, you can always take bus number 35 to the entrance and enjoy a more leisurely stroll back down.
