If you want an easy, scenic marble run hike near Lucerne, this is a great pick, especially in May when higher mountain trails can still have snow. You might even time it with wildflowers in the spring!
The Seebodenalp Chugelbahnen trail loops through open alpine meadows with beautiful views over Lake Lucerne and toward Mount Pilatus, with 11 wooden marble stations built right into the trail. View the trail map here, or watch a quick video of the trail here.
