Perched on the rugged cliffs of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, is Australia’s oldest mainland lighthouse.

Built in 1848, this 91m-tall beacon (17m tower) has been guiding ships through the treacherous Bass Strait for over 175 years, earning its nickname as the “Beacon of Hope.” Surrounded by the wild beauty of Great Otway National Park, it’s a spot for epic ocean views, whale-watching, and a dose of Aussie history.
