Kick off your day with a hike to Glymur, Iceland’s second-tallest waterfall (after Morsárfoss). The trail is a bit challenging, with river crossings and rocky terrain, but the reward is spectacular.
The waterfall plunges ~198 meters into a deep canyon, framed by lush cliffs.
Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a walking stick if you have one.
Optional: Shorter detours along the trail offer different perspectives of the canyon and waterfall.
