Get ready for some of the most spectacular views in Breckenridge, starting right from the Boreas Pass Loop Trailhead. You'll be walking along a historic railroad path, which means the main trail has a nice, gentle grade, perfect for a relaxed hike. In the fall, the route explodes with color as you wander through groves of golden aspens. While the main road is an easy walk, you can also connect to more challenging trails like the Baker's Tank Loop for a bit more of a workout. The trailhead is located where the paved road ends, about 3.5 miles from the main highway, so you can start your adventure just steps from your car.
