Cathedral Cave, nestled in the picturesque Langdale Valley of the Lake District, is a hidden gem that is very easy to get to!
The hardest part is parking your car- you can't park at the nearby Three Shires Inn unless you are staying the night. Instead there is a lay-by just before the inn you can park in!
The route starts at the road marked with the sign Tilberthwaite. From here it's only 0.7 miles to the cave! Follow the sign posts.
Bonus! The route is circular and either on your way there or way back you can cross over the cutest pedestrian bridge- Slater's Bridge.
