Dunnesdrangar has become one of my favourite locations on Vágar island. The main reason is because it takes me about an hour hike to reach the main location and of course this place is just mind blowing. These photos don't do justice to this place. Once you see it with your own eyes you'll understand what I mean.
Important Notice: Since June 2023, an entrance fee of 465 DKK is applicable, and a guided tour is mandatory. I conduct this hike weekly, and if you'd like to join, I can be your guide with an additional fee for my time.
For those aiming to witness the breathtaking sunset, reminiscent of the first picture, the best months are March, April, September, and October.
