This was our second time visiting St. Joseph's Cathedral, and honestly, we found it even more fascinating this time around, especially now that we know a bit more about its history. The cathedral is this beautiful Gothic Revival masterpiece with twin bell towers that give off serious Notre Dame de Paris vibes. Built in the late 19th century, it's hard to believe that people could create something this grand back in the day — it really makes you appreciate the craftsmanship and sheer effort it took.
The stained glass windows inside are stunning, and the pipe organ adds a majestic touch. Even though it’s been through some tough times, especially during periods of persecution, the cathedral still stands as one of Hanoi’s most important religious and architectural landmarks. They’ve even given it a recent renovation, so it looks better than ever! Whether you’re there for Mass or just to take in the beauty, it’s definitely a spot worth visiting — we were even more in awe the second time around.
