All 4 Major Cretan Cities are 1 Hour Apart from Each Other

Crete has got 4 major cities, for each of the 4 regions on the island. The cities are:

1. Chania (region of Chania)

1. Rethymnon (region of Rethymnon)

2. Heraklion (region of Heraklion)

3. Agios Nikolaos (region of Lassithi)
   
   All these 4 cities are an hour drive away from each other. Rethymno is an hour away from Chania, Heraklion is an hour away from Rethymnon and Agios Nikolaos is an hour away from Heraklion. Which means that Chania (West) is approximately 3 hours away from Agios Nikolaos (East). This will help you keep track of the times when calculating the distances. It's better to count the hours rather than the kilometres.
