The Berglistüber Waterfall in hidden, but well-known waterfall, tucked away in the Glarus valley near the Klausen Pass. Since the last 1800s, it's been described as Switzerland's most beautiful waterfalls.
It's a very short walk from the roadside parking, on a well maintained path to a viewpoint close to the falls.
Some people walk behind the falls and take amazing pictures. But this area is fenced off, with a sign warning you not to go further for safety concerns. We played it safe.
No fee to visit. There is a cafe at the start of the path.
Location: in Glarner land region, about 6 min drive from Linthal-Braunwald funicular - see on map

Usually the snow is gone from this area by mid May, but the road over the pass. Water flow is highest through July then tapers off a bit in fall.
It's nice short visit if you are hiking in the nearby Braunwald or doing a driving tour over the Klausen Pass. Check open status of the pass road, usually open by mid May.
