The Eiger Glacier is an impressive sight to behold! Located on the south-western side of the legendary Eiger mountain, this glacier stands out for its impressive size and breathtaking views. It stretches from the summit of the mountain down to an elevation of 2400m above sea level and with its thick blanket of snow, provides a dramatic contrast against the rocky cliff face of the mountain. The new Eiger Express tricable gondola will take you from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. If you're up for a walk, from the glacier you can descend to Kleine Scheidegg (2.3km, 5m elevation gain, around 53min to complete one way).
