6 Things I would not do if I was visiting Puerto Rico

I WOULD NOT:

1) Stay in San Juan: get out and explore!

2) Expect fast service: everyone is on island time so sit back and relax.

3) Only go to tourist restaurants: PR has some great local food (make sure you try mofongo!)

4) Underestimate the ocean: make sure you check notices for rip currents!

5) Be surprised if the language doesn't sound like Spanish you're used to- Puerto Ricans have their own dialect and slang!

6) Expect to use uber outside San Juan
