After a month in Peru, we were craving a little taste of home...and KO Asian Kitchen delivered! Peru has a large Asian population, and its culinary scene is famous for fusion (called Chifa). KO takes that heritage and gives it a fresh, modern spin. The setting inside Larcomar is stylish, and the menu covers everything from sushi to pad thai.
For us, this was comfort food with a Peruvian twist. We loved the summer rolls, gyoza, pad thai, and sushi. It reminded us of Hawaii, where we’re from, while still celebrating Lima’s Asian-Peruvian fusion culture. It was the perfect “reset meal” during our travels, and one we’d go back to in a heartbeat.
Pro Tip: If you’ve been eating Peruvian staples for days and want a change of pace, KO is a great way to experience Lima’s Asian-fusion side without leaving the Malecón.
