This place isn't always readily accessible but if you want to give it a go, you can technically park your car by the fence as you drive onto Dyrhólaey (there is a gravel spot on the side of the road) BUT you can and probably should park either at the regular Dyrhólaey parking spots or by Loftsalahellir and hike from there (this will however add a few km to your hike). After that you'll make your way along the cliffs westwards. It takes about 20-30 minutes (from the road) but once you're there you'll be happy you did it! And while you're there, watch out for the sneaker waves.
QUICK NOTES:
What it is: A black sand beach with a unique view of Dyrhólaey.
Best season: Summer (other work too).
Best time of day: Sunset.
Nice to know: If a land owner asks you not to go there, I always recommend respecting that.
