🚶‍♂️What to Expect

Trail conditions:

• Narrow, rocky mountain paths

• Short sections with cables to hold on for support

• Uneven terrain and some scrambling on the far side of the lake

Best for:

• Hikers with good footwear and surefootedness

• Those comfortable with moderate heights

Not recommended for:

• Small children or people with severe vertigo

• Strollers or unfit hikers

🧭 Tips for the Trail

• Start early to avoid crowds and afternoon weather shifts

• Walk the loop clockwise for easier descents and better pacing

• Bring layers – it can be chilly even in summer

• Be cautious on the rocky sections; hiking poles can help with balance

• I did my lunch break halfway by the lake. You can chill out on the rocks right next to the lake which is a fantastic place to take a nap as well hehe.

• I got a front row seat on the funicular on the way back because I got there very early. So that's absolutely recommendable. You have to already book your ride back online so make sure to be early for your slot to get that front row!
