Ben Cruachan is an impressive mountain located in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Rising to a height of 1,126 metres (3,694 ft), it is the highest peak in Argyll and Bute and gives its name to the nearby Cruachan Dam, a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station located in a cavern inside the mountain.

Walks here require experience, particularly in winter months, but are as rewarding as they come.
