Falknis is a mountain lying exaclty on the border between Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The hike to its top is a pretty long one, but it is very diverse. We suggest to take the cable car (see link below) to gain many hundreds of meters in altitude. From there, you hike through mountain meadows, over a little pass to a tiny wood, where the first of three lakes lies. From there, you gain elevation fast, until you have reached the peak. Enjoy the view, but don't forget that you shouldn't miss the last cable car ride. Otherwise, you have to hike down to the valley, what probably your knees won't thank you for!
