Telkomsel has the widest coverage; signal drops in the south and on Rinjani. Grab a local SIM or eSIM at the airport on arrival.

For using local SIM and eSIM a registration of your phones IMEI is necessary in Indonesia - thankfully most proper Telkomsel stores can do that.

Alternatively buy an international travelers eSIM, preferably one that uses Telkomsels network such as AirHub
