Google Maps gets patchy out here – paths, jetties and even some villages are missing. Download the area offline before you arrive, and add Organic Maps (or Maps.me) as a second option; their coverage of small trails is often better.
Save your homestay's location as a pin the moment you arrive. "The blue house past the mosque" works as a description until it doesn't.
