Mt. Tabor Park in Portland is a cool scenic spot and one of my favorite places for views of downtown Portland in the distance and to watch sunset. The park has a rich history dating back to 1909 when the city bought land for it. You can enjoy accessible amenities like picnic areas, play equipment, and even a dog off-leash area. Plus, there's a statue of Harvey W. Scott at the summit. Just be aware of the park hours and closures, especially on Wednesdays. Overall, Mt. Tabor Park is a chill place to hang out and enjoy nature in the city.
