Според преданието, когато светецът бягал от османците, Бог удължавал земята под краката му, за да го спаси. Така се образувал и самият нос. Въпреки това, светецът бил заловен и погребан тук, а параклисът днес символично пази неговата памет.

According to legend, when the saint was fleeing from the Ottomans, God lengthened the ground beneath his feet to save him. This is how the cape itself was formed. Nevertheless, the saint was captured and buried here, and today the chapel symbolically preserves his memory.
