1. Pico do Areeiro

At 1,818 meters, Pico do Areeiro is Madeira's third-highest peak, treating visitors to sweeping mountain vistas. It also marks the beginning of the iconic hike to Pico Ruivo.

Perched in Faial, offers awe-inspiring views of Madeira’s northern coastline and the vast Atlantic, making it an ideal spot for photographers.

8. Miradouro da Boa Morte

Situated near Ponta do Pargo, this viewpoint provides stunning vistas of the rugged cliffs and the vast Atlantic Ocean, making it a perfect spot for sunset views.

9. Ribeira da Janela

From Miradouro Ilhéus da Ribeira da Janela, visitors can admire the striking rock formations emerging from the ocean, a must- see stop on Madeira’s north coast.

This clifftop viewpoint, crowned by the Cristo Rei statue, offers panoramic ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere.

15. Véu da Noiva

Named the “Bride’s Veil”, this waterfall cascades down a cliff into the Atlantic, best viewed from a roadside viewpoint near Seixal.

16. Miradouro do Redondo

Located in Porto Moniz, this viewpoint offers stunning ocean and coastline views, including the natural pools. The road is very steep and narrow—walking is recommended over driving.
