This 6.8 km there-and-back levada is a peaceful walk through the lush Rabaçal valley, taking just 1–2 hours – ideal if you want waterfalls without a workout. It starts near the Rabaçal house and winds gently through highland vegetation, with cows, birds, and mountain views to keep you company.
The highlight? The enchanting Lagoa Dona Beja, a serene pool fed by a waterfall that also connects to Lagoa do Vento. It’s a magical spot to relax, enjoy a snack, or even take a dip if you're brave enough.
Flat, scenic, and full of fresh air – this is one of Madeira’s gentlest gems.
