Directions

The Shonan Monorail is a cool suspended monorail in Kanagawa, Japan that opened in 1970. It's the first of its kind in Japan and runs on a 6.6 km line called the Enoshima Line. The monorail is popular with commuters heading to Tokyo or Yokohama, tourists visiting Enoshima, and city dwellers checking out the parks and baths in the summer. Plus, it's twinned with the Wuppertal Schwebebahn in Germany, making it a fun destination for monorail enthusiasts!
