Kyzart is a small village located just off the main highway. While there's not much to do in the town itself, it’s the most popular starting point for horse treks and hiking routes around Song Kul Lake.

Most treks from Kyzart range from 2 to 7 days. I personally did the 3-day trek, which felt like the perfect amount of time. Everything was arranged in advance—including round-trip transport from Bishkek, local yurt stays, and home-cooked meals throughout the journey. The experience was seamless and truly unforgettable.
