How to get here- Most travelers depart from Osh. The drive is primarily on a paved highway until you reach the small village of Sary-Mogul. From there, continue through the village onto a dirt road. The last 22 kilometers are on an unpaved, winding, and bumpy mountain road. Be sure to follow these coordinates: 39°30′33.74″N 72°55′00.62″E to stay on the right path.

Where to stay- Tulpar Kul offers several yurt camps and basecamp tents scattered throughout the area. You can find accommodations listed on Instagram, Google Maps, and Booking.com. Because of its relatively easy access, this region attracts many tourists and tends to book up quickly—especially in peak season.

What to do here-During the day, enjoy horse riding or trekking to the surrounding hills for panoramic views of the lakes below. Note that the hike involves an 800-meter elevation gain on a loose dirt track and can be quite physically demanding, so come prepared.
