The Sulaiman-Too Mountain Museum is one of the most iconic sights in Osh — and it's impossible to miss. Carved directly into the mountain rising above the city, this museum blends history, geology, and religion in a uniquely Kyrgyz setting.

Inside, you’ll find exhibits on Silk Road trade, local archaeology, and Islamic history, all tucked within natural caves and rock chambers. The entry fee is 170 SOM, and the views from the top are absolutely worth the climb.

How do I get there?-

  • By Foot: It’s about a 10-minute walk from the main city square — easy and scenic.

  • By Marshrutka: Hop on any marshrutka heading toward the mountain, but be sure to confirm with the driver that it stops near Sulaiman-Too before boarding.
