Bronte Beach is a popular spot in Sydney, Australia, nestled between Bondi and Coogee beaches. It's known for its scenic coastal footpath, great surfing conditions, and a 30-meter ocean pool. The beach was actually named after Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, not the Brontë sisters as many believe. :(
Regardless, I like to think this is the little sister to Bondi. It can be quieter and has amazing gazebos along the shoreline that are perfect for a picnic. But be wary, on Christmas break, this beach becomes a madhouse for international backpackers and students, so you might want to choose another for a family fun day (or join in on the party, we don't judge!) And watch out for the dangerous rip called the Bronte Express! Don't forget to pass the ocean pool to find the lookout for amazing photos!
