I grew up on Helgeland and have traveled around for years exploring this area. This is my favorite part of Norway, mainly because of the nature and the quiet sense of freedom you find here.

Helgeland is a place where time slows down. Where you can walk along white sandy beaches without meeting another soul, or hike to a mountain peak and feel like you have the entire world to yourself. The landscape is raw and dramatic, yet peaceful at the same time.

In summer, the midnight sun casts a golden light over the ocean and mountains, stretching the days into something that feels almost timeless. There is no rush here.
