The Ásatrú Temple in Reykjavík, Iceland is a modern revival of the ancient Viking religion, complete with a new sanctuary for ceremonies and gatherings. Founded in 1972, the Ásatrú society now boasts almost 5,000 members and is the fastest-growing religion in Iceland. The temple, still under construction, will honor gods like Odin and Thor and feature a dome aligned with astronomical events. Once completed, it will host rituals, from weddings to feasts, and be open to all religions as a symbol of tolerance and peace.
