Dunluce Castle, a medieval ruin in Northern Ireland, was once the seat of Clan MacDonnell. Perched on a basalt outcrop with steep drops on either side, it has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. This setting is incredibly dramatic and picturesque, and was used in "Game of Thrones". The castle changed hands between various clans before falling into disrepair in the 17th century. Known for its spectacular setting and connections to Scottish royalty, Dunluce Castle is now a popular tourist attraction and a source of inspiration for artists and writers alike. This is definitely one of my favourites!
