The Buffalo Nations Museum founded by Norman Luxton in 1953 is one of Alberta’s oldest museums, a remarkable building & environment to educate about First Nations’ cultures. Celebrate & follow the up–to-date accounts of the return of the buffalo to Banff National Park, signings of the Buffalo Treaty, & what buffalo mean to the indigenous peoples. Take pictures, dance, play music, and participate in weekly shows demonstrating authentic traditions and storytelling and feel the power of your participation.

Winter (October – April) 11 am - 5 pm
Admission:
