Portage Glacier is located on Portage Lake, nestled in the Chugach National Forest. It is easily accessible for viewing or you can explore booking a tour (I've linked one below). There are also surrounding hikes for all experience levels. You can depart the parking lot on an easy hike to Byron Glacier! This is a great stop on your way to Seward, Kenai, or Homer!
