Nestled in the Andean foothills, this lively town is surrounded by waterfalls, rivers, hot springs, and incredible mountain views — perfect for both adventure and relaxation.

We loved exploring the nearby waterfalls (la rutas de la cascadas), hiking trails, white water rafting, and swinging over the famous “Swing at the End of the World,” as well as soaking in the natural hot springs after a day of activity. There’s also a vibrant town center full of cafes, restaurants, and shops that make it easy to enjoy the local culture between adventures.

Prices for activities, food, and entrance fees are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy everything Baños has to offer without breaking the bank. If you’re in Ecuador and want a mix of adventure, nature, and a charming town vibe, Baños is definitely worth a visit.
