If you’re in Cusco and craving authentic Peruvian flavors, Morena Peruvian Kitchen is a must-visit. This cozy, casual spot serves up classic dishes with a fresh, modern twist, from ceviche and tiraditos to lomo saltado and ají de gallina.

We loved how each dish hit the right balance of flavors — tangy, spicy, and perfectly seasoned — and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The staff are friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and it’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or a casual night out.

Prices are very reasonable, usually around PEN 40–80 (USD $10–20) per dish, and they also offer Peruvian drinks like chicha morada and pisco cocktails.

If you want a taste of Peru in the heart of Cusco, Morena Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth stopping by, it was some of the best food we had whilst in Peru!
