If you’re wandering around Tulum and get a taco craving, Taquería Maya is such a gem. The tacos are super fresh, packed with flavour, and way bigger than you’d expect, especially the cochinita pibil ones — honestly some of the best we had in Tulum. Prices are tiny, usually around 30–50 MXN per taco, so you can easily try a few without feeling guilty.

We went when it was lunchtime and the place was buzzing with locals, which just made it feel even better. Grab a cold agua fresca or soda, snag a spot at one of the small tables!
